These natural herkimer diamonds are drilled and put on gilded chains to create these quartz necklaces. The chains are sterling silver and then gilded with either 14 carat yellow or rose gold. They're 45cm in length, but do contact me if you prefer another length.
The black in some herkimer stones is carbon in the crystal, let me know if you'd prefer a clear one or one with these inclusions! These stones were naturally formed, they're not cut a certain way. After they're found they're drilled, that's it. Stones are about 1 cm (2/5ths of an inch) to little over 1.5 cm (3/5ths of an inch) in size.
Herkimer diamonds are not real diamonds, but actually are double-terminated quartz crystals. They're referred to as "diamonds" due to both their clarity and natural faceting - these crystals possess double termination points and 18 total faces.
