Daya brooches, Ginkgo - Ivy - Pearl

Brooches that can be used as a tie pin, or to add a little detail to any outfit. Pin them on sweaters, cardigans or vests. Or on the lapel of a more chic jacket.

I’ve made three different kinds, broche A. Is a Sterling silver Ginkgo broche, the tiny leaf is made with a casting from an actual ginkgo leaf.

Broche B. Is made using a tiny Ivy leaf, also made with the casting of a real leaf.

And Broche C. Is made with a black fresh water pearl.

The pearl is fixed on the top of the pin. These broches are fully handmade using only sterling silver, the stopper on the bottom has some rubber to really cling to the tie pin.

Please note that the pin itself is very sharp (not meant for children), so it can be easily pinned to a tie, vest, sweater or fabric. Also please note that I do not recommend these for lighter fabric, the needles are quite thin (yet very sturdy) and the pin is also quite light - but in thinner, more tightly woven fabrics it might leave a small mark.

Let me know at check out which ones of these pins you’d like to purchase. And you can also opt for an oxidized finish - this will make the leaf part of the piece black. With wear the oxidation might fade, but it will remain in the deeper lying parts, adding depth and demention.
